Tabdeen Iddi is a Ghanaian agricultural scientist and project management expert, currently pursuing a PhD in Crop Science (Breeding) at the University for Development Studies (UDS), Ghana. He holds a Master of Science in Project Management from the University of Cape Coast and an MPhil in Crop Science (Agronomy), as well as a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture Technology (Agronomy), both from UDS. He also earned a joint certificate in Climate Change and Agriculture from Wageningen University & Research (Netherlands) and UDS. Professionally, Tabdeen has over a decade of diverse experience in Ghana’s agricultural sector. He has served as the Chief Director of Agriculture at ReMI since 2015 and is the CEO of Abdul-Fattah Agroservices (since 2020) and Managing Director of Skojij Farms (since 2021). He has worked with leading research and regulatory institutions, including CSIR-SARI (2016–2017) and the Plant Protection and Regulatory Services Directorate (2017–2021). In 2017, he also collaborated with AGRA Ghana on agricultural development initiatives. In 2024, he led a USAID-funded project as a senior Agronomist on a study of the impact of mechanization centers across the five northern regions of Ghana. He has been a senior private agricultural consultant since 2020, providing expert advice to public and private stakeholders. Additionally, he is involved in a project with Newage Ghana called Chagaba, focusing on innovative agricultural practices. Tabdeen Iddi is committed to advancing sustainable agriculture, improving food systems, Climate, and promoting agribusiness in Ghana and beyond.
