Abubakari Sadik Tamimu is a diligent professional with a strong academic background in communication and social change. He earned an MPhil in Innovation Communication and a BSc in Social Change Communication from University for Development Studies. He has completed education and certificate courses in Security Governance and Compliance and Digital Journalism, expanding his understanding in communication and security. Abubakari's contributions to the academic community, including published works on technology and agriculture, demonstrate his commitment to harnessing communication for betterment of society. A well-rounded individual, Abubakari has excellent work experience under his belt in a number of positions. He is an Assistant Security Supervisor at the Ghana Ports and Harbours Authority, with the responsibility of ensuring port security and apposite control. At Rescue Mission International, as a Research and Policy personnel he is responsible for staff mentoring and the infusion of research results into operational procedures. Abubakari’s experience as a Teaching Assistant and participating in a number of research projects also prove his very strong analytical abilities and his good communication skills. Having a solid record of working efficiently under pressure and always willing to work together for the interests of the team, he is more than just an asset for any organization.
