Rescue Mission (RM) is a non-profit making youth group that was founded in March, 2015 by three (3) young men. It started as a student movement to fight for the rights of students in the University for Development Studies, Nyankpala campus and to also encourage and nurture incorruptible, dedicated, selfless, hardworking, passionate, enthusiastic and servitude student leaders and future leaders in general.

This student movement saw a massive willingness to join in few months of its formation and in 2016 October, the three founders together with some other elected executives and members of the movement considered series of issues that were not going in the right direction in our societies and then decided to redefine the activities of the movement and by so doing, came out with a consensus to changing the thematic to tackling Climate Change and its repercussions whiles still promoting Youth Leadership and Development.
