ReMI as a member of the MRV For Climate Action Ghana, we were honored to participate in the recent Multilevel Climate Governance Learning and Design Exchange held in Accra from April 23 to 26, 2024. This transformative event brought together stakeholders from CSOs/NGOs, Academia, MDAs, MMDAs, and Research Institutions to share experiences, discuss challenges, and strategize solutions for effective climate action implementation.

The workshop provided a platform for robust discussions on various topics, including the coordination challenges and capacity gaps in multilevel climate governance, the role of citizen participation mechanisms, strategic communication strategies, and the importance of climate finance in driving impactful climate actions.

Throughout the conference, participants engaged in practical group exercises aimed at identifying milestones for achieving desired climate governance outcomes, characterizing stakeholder participation and roles, designing communication strategies, and proposing ecosystem actions for implementing transformative pilots.

Key highlights included insightful presentations by distinguished speakers, who shared valuable insights and expertise on climate governance, citizen engagement, and climate finance.

The exchange fostered collaboration, knowledge sharing, and innovative thinking among participants, empowering them to develop practical strategies for enhancing multilevel climate governance and advancing climate action initiatives.
